Divorce litigation is expensive. Mediation is not. In fact, in most cases, resolving your case through our Orange County divorce mediation process may be a fraction of what you would spend in Family Court.
The following are estimates for your divorce mediation fees and costs. These estimates assume that you and your spouse are both motivated to resolve the divorce case, do not engage in unreasonable delays and are reasonable throughout the process. The following do not include court costs (over which we have no control) such as Family Court filing fees. Filing fees are currently $435.00 per person for the petition and $435.00 for the response to the petition.
The hourly rate that these fees are based on vary depending on the complexity of the family law case. The range is between $250.00 to $350.00 per hour for Farzad Family Law’s divorce mediators. Flat fees are also available on certain mediation cases.
